Bizzrin

Medium / Insectoid / Quadruped

Description

Bizzrin resemble large bees in almost every way. Bizzrin posses smaller grasping digits at the end of each of their 6 legs. They use their lower 2 sets of legs for walking and the upper set of more nimble arms are used for grasping and performing tasks. They possess a set of large insectoid wings that grant them the ability to fly and a protective exoskeleton that protects them from falls and harm.

Society

Nectar Collectors

Honey Bizzrin society functions in close connection to the nature that surrounds them. The collection of nectar to create nutritious and shelf stable honey is the only major food source and export for most Bizzrin cultures. Because of this, Bizzrin cultures tend to keep a watchful eye on the overall health and stability of the land they inhabit and will regularly take actions to stabilize the environment if necessary. A beneficial side effect of their efforts is the successful pollination of hundreds of species of flowering plant life in their territories.

Feudal Government

Most Bizzrin societies are ruled by a single queen. She oversees every single major decision made inside the hive and dictates the actions and roles of all of her citizens. When a judge is needed, she serves, when a Mother is needed, she serves, when a Ruler is needed, she serves, when an executioner is needed, she serves. The queen is revered as feared by all her subjects and until a new queen is chosen, her rule is absolute.

Feudal Society

Most Bizzrin function within a Feudal society. Serving their queen unquestionably and fulfilling their assigned duties to the best of their ability. Believing that their queen is superior over all others and any other Bizzrin would be happy to serve her if they only knew the truth.

Abilities

Winged Flight

You gain a fly speed equal to your movement speed. Every Minute(6 Rounds) of flight in active combat causes you to lose 1 Stamina and you cannot rest while flying. Sustained travel flight causes you to lose 1 Stamina every hour. Having one or more of your wings wounded causes you to immediately lose the ability to fly until recovered. Being knocked prone while flying causes you to fall until you are able to use 3 meters of movement to “stand” and resume flying. You cannot Fly while wearing Heavy Armor. You can carry 1 small or smaller creature while flying.

Increased Space Requirements: While walking requires only as much space as your character occupies to continue movement, Flying upward or horizontally requires an additional Meter of space on any one side of your character. Smaller spaces do not allow your wings to flap and provide lift. If you are traveling downward during your flying movement then the above rule does not apply.

Honey Makers

All Honey Bizzrin are capable of collecting nectar from flowering plants to make honey. Each hour a Honey Bizzrin spends collecting Nectar allows them to produce 1d4 oz. of honey.

Venomous Sting I

Most Bizzrin possess a venomous stinger at the lower end of their abdomen that they can use as a first and last defense in combat.

Recharging Weapon: If this weapon is not currently recharged, roll 1d6 at the end of your turn. If you roll a 5 or 6 this weapon recharges. If you choose to use this weapon while it is not recharged, spend 1 Stamina.

Description

A larger predatory subspecies of bizzrin that does not collect honey. Wasp Bizzrin have dark or striped colorations and lack the furry coat of Honey Bizzrin. Wasp bizzrin function very similarly in their societal structure and hierarchy, They have chosen queens and function as a collective hive. They differ in that Wasps seek out prey and carrion to bring back and meticulously stockpile, rather than nectar for the production of honey. Because of this difference in lifestyle and their predatory nature many other species find Wasp Bizzrin to be a particularly terrifying sight.

Traits

Late Life Replacement

Once Wasp and Hornet Bizzrin are past their prime they are automatically replaced by the next generation. They are not reassigned and are encouraged to seek out other pleasures in life as they are no longer needed in the hive. Many of these replaced Bizzrin become more aggressive and seek out sweet treats and other enjoyable pastimes quite gratuitously, which many have speculated is due to a lack of something to live for after leaving the ultra-structured hive life.

Description

A huge, aggressive and warlike subspecies of Bizzrin that does not collect honey. They are essentially much larger, more venomous cousins to Wasp Bizzrin. Their main difference is their migratory living habits using numbers and aggression as a survival strategy rather than collecting and cultivating resources.

Traits

Hyper Aggressive

All Hornet Bizzrin have the Hyper Aggressive Trait. Each time a hornet bizzrin does something they would rather not, such as debating rather than fighting, or being kind rather than fighting, they are forced to spend 1 willpower. When they have no remaining willpower they are considered to have lost all sense of self control and will act upon their instincts until the target of their aggression is no longer moving or accessible or they regain willpower.
