You concentrate a burst of chi into your palm during a strike, releasing the energy upon contact.

Effect: Make a Melee Attack vs a target within Range. If you Hit with this technique, the target is dealt 1d8 Kinetic Damage in addition to the  damage dealt by the caster’s standard melee attack.

In addition, the target creature and all creatures in a 1 Meter blast Area centered on the target(other than the caster) must roll a Constitution or Dexterity Saving Throw. The DC is equal to the caster’s Spell Save DC. Creatures within the blast area that had warning or are wearing ear protection gain a Destiny Die on this Technique’s Saving Throw.

Creatures that Fail the Saving throw are Deafened until the end of their next turn.

Creatures that Pass the Saving Throw are unaffected.

Overpower: The caster can spend 1 additional Chi to Overpower this Technique and Increase the Blast Area of this Technique by 1 Meter,

Or Increase the DC to Resist this instance of this Technique’s Effects by 2,

Or Increase this Technique’s Attack Roll by 2,

Or Increase the Damage this Technique deals by 1d8 Kinetic Damage,

Or Add “Push Large or smaller creatures 1d4 Meters” to the Hit Effect of this Technique.
