Information

Bone biters are a type of insectoid creature that imitates the shape, size and coloration of various bones. Different types of bone biters mimic different types of bones, depending on the native creatures of their environment. As they grow they are capable of molting and taking on the from of larger different bone or type of remains.

Behavior

Bone biters lie in wait around other bones or remains and try to look as still as possible. When scavengers or looters approach they spring into action and attack with a level of ferocity unbecoming of such a small creature. The larger they grow the more bold they become. Some reports have even indicated the very old ones can grow as large as giants and leviathans and will mimic their bones and remains as well.
